Executing Ideas

A Thought

Progress is a result of closing the gap between receiving information and acting upon it.

A Truth

We often hear that doers are better than thinkers, but the goal is not to be one or the other.

The goal is not just to be a doer, but to be someone who puts thought into their action.

An Application

What information do I need to act on? Is what I'm consuming applicable?

Taking Risks

A Thought

Risk-taking is less about one's appetite for danger but is more about one's ability to trust themselves.

It is the ability to trust that you can handle whatever situations may arise and ultimately make decisions that align you to a desired future.

A Truth

If every aspect of life involves some degree of risk, then every part of aspect of life involves some degree of trust.

An Application

In what ways can I grow my ability to take risks? In what ways can I develop my ability to trust?

Persistence

A Thought

Persistence is the ability to stick with something until change happens. Persistence is not just sticking with it, but doing so with a good attitude.

A Truth

Persistence is a combination of being patient and taking action.

Being patient is the understanding that progress does not happen overnight but over the course of many nights.

Taking action is taking and maintaining a proactive attitude towards life.

An Application

How realistic are my expectations where time is concerned?

What can I do to change or improve my level of proactivity towards life?
